HOTEL SERVICES:
Check-in and Check-out
Hotel check-in is 3 p.m., and check-out is
12 p.m. Guests arriving before 3 p.m. will be accommodated as
rooms become available. Our Guest Service Department will
arrange for you to check luggage when arriving early and for
guests attending functions on departure day.
- Early Departure
Guests have a chance to confirm their departure date at check-in. Once confirmed, there will be a $100 early departure fee assessed
if a guest departs prior to his/her confirmed departure date.
- Late Departure
Late check-outs are available upon request and subject to availability. Please contact the Front Desk directly to discuss availability and associated fees.
- Satellite Check-In
Satellite check-in is available only if approved in advance by the Event Manager. The following conditions must be met in order to be eligible for consideration; arrival manifest provided seven days in advance of major arrival and all charges going to the master account. The success of a satellite check-in is depends on the hotel's occupancy the evening before and
the flow of your arrival manifest. Your
Catering/Event Manager will be able to discuss these
issues in greater detail and determine if this is the
most effective method for your arrival.
- Zip Check-out
With zip check-out, your room folio is provided at your door early in the morning of your departure. Simply verify the charges, use the television remote or dial extension
6080 to check-out. Please leave your keys in the room. If you are not departing the hotel immediately, luggage storage can be arranged at the bell
stand.
- Kiosks
The Hilton San Francisco offers Kiosk check-in and
check-out as a convenience to our guests. Our
kiosks are user- friendly and accept credit or HHonors
cards. Guests receive room keys at check-in and a printed folio at check-out.
Concierge
Whether it is a simple request or a complex problem, the concierge function is to cater to your every need. The concierge team is an excellent resource not only on-site but also in advance and can be used as resource for your attendees on your marketing materials.

Newspapers/Publication
Newspapers available in our Sundries store are: USA Today, San Francisco Chronicle, and Wall Street Journal. The USA Today is delivered to all guest rooms.
Automated Teller Machines
There are three ATM’s conveniently located in the hotel: two are on lobby level - one across from the Tower tours desk and one near the escalators by the Mason Street entrance - and one in the garage level B-3. There are also ATM locations in San Francisco at all major bank locations.
Elevators
The Hilton San Francisco hotel has a total of 16 guest
elevators, 6 accessing Building 1, 4 accessing Building 2 and 6
accessing Building 3. All elevators access lobby and ballroom
levels. In addition, all Building 3 elevators access the
hotel's parking garage on floors 5-11 while two of them descend
to the garage level where the valet parking area is located.
Currency Exchange
The front desk currently exchanges the following currency at the prevailing rate: Japanese Yen, Italian Lira, Canadian Dollars, and Euros. Each guest is limited to a currency exchange of $200 per day, with identification.
We strongly recommend handling large currency exchange through your home bank.
Celebrity/Dignitary Visits
Rest assured your celebrities or dignitaries
will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Your
Catering/Event Manager is happy to work with you to accommodate
any special requirements.
Bell Services
Our Bell Services department is responsible for the movement of your luggage, the delivery of all non-food and beverage amenities, and golf bag handling/storage. Porterage charges will be outlined in your contract. The current rate is $3 per bag each way and is subject to change. Departure notices and bag pulls should be coordinated with our Guest Services Manager, Manny Barretto at 415-202-7723.
Bell Services delivers non-food or packaged deliveries to the guest rooms. The charge for deliveries is as follows: outside the room - $1.50 per item, inside the room - $2 per item.
Guest Service Hotline
Guests with specific needs or requests may at any time pick up a house phone and dial extension 55. A hotel operator will direct your needs to the appropriate hotel contact. For your convenience, a manager on duty is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be accessed via the guest service hotline.
In-room Dining (Room Service)
Our In-room Dining is from 6am-midnight, seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and beverage service. We are happy to offer convenient doorknob ordering for breakfast service. In-Room Dining can be reached
in-house at extension 6162.
A variety of amenities is available through Room Service. Room
Service gratuity is 15% and posted automatically on all checks. There is also a delivery fee of $5 per order.
Housekeeping
Daily guest room housekeeping services, which consists of general cleaning, take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Should one of your guests require special times of service, requests may be made directly with Housekeeping or your Catering/Event Manager.
Each guest room is provided with several special service amenities at no charge. These items include: an iron
with ironing board, coffee makers, hairdryers, bath/shower amenities, and extra pillows. Additional bedding available for children: cribs and roll-a-ways. Please note there is a maximum of four persons (including children) allowed per room.
The suggested housekeeping gratuity is $1 per person per day. Some groups may have the gratuity rate pre-determined in the contract and billed to the master account.
Dry Cleaning/Laundry
Laundry services are available by dialing extension 6004. Garments picked up prior to
9 a.m. are returned to guests by 6:30 pm – 7 p.m. the same evening. Please note that there is no service on the following Holidays: Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.
Mail/Packages
Stamps are for sale at the Front Desk, and our Package Express Department offers shipping services. Package Express is located in Building 3 near the garage valet and offers complete mailing services.
They are open Monday through Friday 7am- 5pm, and Saturday & Sunday 8am-5pm. They can be reached at (415) 771-1400 ext. 6211. Please refer to your Catering/Event Manager if you would like to arrange an on-site service for your group.
The United States Post Office is located in the basement of
Macy’s on O’Farrell Street between Powell and Kearny
Streets. The hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Medical Services/Facilities
For non-life threatening medical needs the hotel refers guests to
the 24-hour medical service company AM/PM House Calls. This
company maintains a list of licensed, board-certified house call
physicians and specialists who are available by phone every day, including weekends and holidays.
The direct phone number is 888-267-6362. House calls to hotel rooms can be arranged through this number. Settlement must be made directly with the company and cannot be charged to guestrooms.
Luggage Storage
Even though the hotel has large luggage storage areas,
if available, a banquet or meeting room may be set aside to store hand carry luggage for individuals leaving later in the day. It is requested that the travel staff supervise these items, as they will be stored at your own risk.
Lost and Found
All Lost and found items will be turned into Security where every attempt will be made to notify the owner. Items that are unclaimed after ninety days will be given to charity. |

Gift Certificates:
A gift certificate is a wonderful way to reward your attendees, staff or sporting event winners. Gift certificates are available for purchase through the Front Office and are designated for restaurants, lounges, logo shops and guest room charges. Gift certificates are not honored at our retail shops; however, purchases may be made in certain retail shops including Spa Fusion and signed to the guest room.
